Fabregas Back To Emirates

Cesc Fabregas returned to Emirates Stadium to training with the club this morning. Today is also media day for Arsenal Club and Fabregas will have a talk today with Arsene Wenger about his future.

Arsenal fans watch Fabregas training followed with a song that say " we love Fabregas ", then the starlet clapped to the fan. Another world cup finalist, Robin Van Persie also joined the training session today.

The 23 years old has been at the centre of speculation linking him with a move back to Barcelona all summer but is yet no comment about his future. Arsene Wenger has been rejected £30 million bid from Barcelona earlier this summer and declared that the Arsenal captain is not for sale at any price.

Time To Shine

Tomas Rosicky has said that this season is the time to end his wait for a trophy. Rosicky has won a trophy with each club he's played for except Arsenal. The Czech international expected he will do it this season.

The 29-year-old is one of senior and elder statesmen of Arsenal squad after Sol Campbell, William Gallas and Mikael Silvestre leave Arsenal this summer. His experience and ability to turn a game will be important in put Arsenal at the top of the league this season.

Last term was Rosicky comeback campaign after an 18 month lay-off, so 2010/11 could see Rosicky push on. He believe that a minor improvement throughout the squad will see him realise his burning ambition of lifting a major trophy at Emirates Stadium.

"You could see that we were there almost the whole of last season. We were knocking on the door," Rosicky told Arsenal.com. "But we were still missing something so let's hope we learn the lessons and do not make the mistakes we did last season.

"Every year we want to be successful. We are in big club, so we want to be champions. Winning a trophy is definitely a big ambition for me. In every team I have ever played I have always won something, so it was always my aim to do it here as well."

Spahic Claims Arsenal Interest

Arsene Wenger confirmed that he is in market to bring at least one more defender to replace William Gallas, Sol Campbell and Mikael Silvestre which all leave the club this summer.

Report over the weekend told that Spahic,29 be on Wenger list of target. The Bosnia Captain play for Montpelliar and still under contract until 2014.

"The most important thing is that so far the negotiations go as planned and that the transfer could be completed soon," Spahic told Sportssport.ba.

 "Arsenal is a great club, I'm an admirer of Arsene Wenger and I hope that Montpellier will cooperate."

Thomas Vermaelen now be a main man at Arsenal defender list after transfered out of William Gallas, Sol Campbell and Mikael Silvestre. He is determined to lead Arsenal defenders to end their trophy drought.

The Gunners have not won the Premier League since 2004 and their last piece of silverware was the 2005 FA Cup. Vermaelen have a good season and give great impact after signing from Ajax last summer.


"You have to keep performing every year. If you play for Arsenal you can never say 'I had a good year, so now I'll ease off'. That's not possible," said Vermaelen. "People ask you to do better every year and I will try to do that.
"It's always more difficult to stay at that level and next year that is the challenge - not only to maintain the level but to improve upon it because it wasn't enough last season. We didn't achieve anything. We have to grow again."
Vermaelen cannot wait to start the new Primier League life with his new partner, Laurent Koscileny who was signed from Lorient last month. He was started alongside Vermaelen in Saturday Emirates Cup against AC Milan. Hope Vermaelen spirit could be a motivate to other teammates.

Laurent Koscielny show his interest in England atmosphere and can't wait to start play in English Premier League after years of watching the Premier league from a far.

The Ex-Lorient defender joined Arsenal last month and made a great first impression when he partnered with Thomas Vermaeleen in the Emirates Cup and pre-season matches. Koscielny start against AC Milan and substitute against Celtic in Emirates Cup last weekend.

Koscielny said that he watched Premier league so much in France and it is a very physical league with fast and intense pace.

"I used to follow the Big Four of English football; Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. I love the atmosphere here with the supporters. Even when you lose, the supporters are always behind you to lift you and take you to a higher level."

The new signed, Koscielny also thought Tottenham and Manchester City can challenged the traditional Big Four for a Champions League spot this season based on their performance last season.

"Maybe, though I do not know if money solves all the problems," he said.

"A football team is made of 11 talented players; it is not only one good player that makes the team win the match. So I don't know if Manchester City can perform right at the top level, but maybe they can."

Wenger Comfirmed Duo Absence

Arsenal will take final pre-season friendly match against Legia Warsaw this coming Saturday. However, it will be too soon for World Cup finalist, Cecs Fabregas and Robin Van Persie.

The Frenchman will takes his team to Poland before start EPL match against Liverpool at Anfield. But although both Van Persie and Fabregas are due to return to training this week and they won't play against Warsaw.
